All these powers are well and good but what about characters who have no powers yet manage to hold their own against their super powered counterparts. Characters like Bat Man, The Punisher, Grendel, Victor. For those players who want a character along those lines I offer the Self made man template.

The Self made Man template adds on to the characters existing D20 modern class (Or if you are not using classes, just adds on to his current set of skills and stats). The template provides the following bonuses.

Stats: +2 to each stat.

Skills: Gain an extra 10 X INT mod skill points to distribute as you see fit. All skills are Class skills for a Self made man.

Feats: Chose any four feats you want. Every level you may choose to gain another feat or an extra10 more skill points.

Saving throws: +2 to each saving throw. And additional +2 every 3 levels over and above any other bonuses.

Armor Class: +2 to Ac. An additional +2 to Ac every 3 levels over and above any other bonuses the character may have.

Combat: +1 to hit and +1 to damage on all attacks. Gains an additional +1 to hit/damage every three levels.

Natural DR: Character has a natural DR of 2.

Wealth: All these character tend to be wealthy in the comics, or if not wealthy (Victor) at least seem to be able to find things a great bargains. You may choose one of the two Feats for the character for free.

1: Abject wealth. The character is rich, filthy rich. Owns his own major corporation rich. His personal holdings and net worth runs in the billions and he can pay for the budget of a major motion picture with pocket change. For all intensive purposes there is nothing in the equipment section the character can not afford.  On the bad side the character is hounded by the IRS 90% of the time.
